Ridder receives 2023 CEAC Mission Award

Ridder has been selected as one of the recipients of the 2023 Controlled Environment Agriculture Center (CEAC) Mission Award. The CEAC, part of the University of Arizona, annually recognizes individuals, groups, or organizations that exemplify the mission of the center.

Ridder was chosen for its outstanding efforts, development, and innovation in the realm of environmental control systems for controlled environment agriculture.

"We are honored to receive this award and be recognized for our contributions to the CEA industry," said Wil Lammers, Managing Director of the Americas at Ridder. "Ridder is committed to advancing the use of technology and innovation in agriculture, and we are proud to be part of the CEAC's mission to promote sustainable and efficient agriculture practices."

The award ceremony took place last week during CEAC’s Greenhouse Crop Production & Engineering Short Course, where David Story, Crop Management Systems Specialist and CEAC-graduate accepted the Mission Award plaque on behalf of Ridder.

"Ridder has been at the forefront of the technology development and innovation on environmental control systems for CEA," said Dr. Murat Kacira, director of the UArizona-CEAC. "We have always appreciated our rewarding collaborations with Ridder through research and outreach programs. We are thankful for your contribution in the advancement of the CEA industry and your collaborations with us all at UArizona-CEAC.”
