Cannabis Summit 2025 starts today

NAALDWIJK, The Netherlands - If you’re serious about where the cannabis industry is headed next, then mark your calendar for March 7, 2025, because the Cannabis Summit 2025 is about to start. Hosted at the World Horti Center in Naaldwijk, the Netherlands, this event isn’t just another industry meet up. The summit will feature thirty expert speakers and five engaging panels, focusing on key areas such as Cultivation, Investment, Technology, Regulation, Utilities, and Supply-Chain (CITRUS).

This year’s lineup of speakers brings together some of the most influential figures in the continental cannabis industry, each with a proven track record in their respective fields. The 2025 panel will feature Beau Whitney, a highly respected cannabis economist, who will be delivering the keynote for the conference. In addition to that, Bob Hoban, a leading cannabis attorney known for his expertise in international cannabis law, will also be attending, along with Jamie Pearson, former CEO of Bhang Inc. ,Sita Schubert, Secretary General of the European Cannabis Association, will bring her expertise in European cannabis policy, advocating for streamlined regulations and improved access for patients and businesses alike. All in all, this year’s panel indicates that we’re in for an extra special treat, folks.

Last year’s edition set the stage for the rapidly expanding European cannabis market, addressing some of the most critical challenges and opportunities the scene encountered. One of the biggest highlights? Cutting-edge horticulture techniques that are changing the game for cannabis cultivation. From smart farming tech and automation to next-gen genetics, 2024’s summit made it clear: the future of cannabis isn’t just about growing plants, it’s about precision, efficiency, and science-backed innovation. The investment landscape was another hot topic, with panelists breaking down the growing interest from institutional investors and what that means for small businesses and large-scale operators alike. It was a wake-up call for entrepreneurs looking to secure funding in an increasingly competitive space. Regulatory discussions were just as crucial, dissecting the latest policy shifts across Europe and how they impact business operations, licensing, and compliance. Last year, the question on everyone’s mind in this regard was how to navigate the legal maze of cannabis expansion without getting caught up in all the red tape. Sustainability was another key pillar of the conversation. With energy costs soaring and environmental concerns becoming more pressing, experts tackled issues like resource efficiency, eco-friendly cultivation practices, and reducing carbon footprints.

But what about this year? What are the most pressing concerns of industry stakeholders, having recently entered 2025? That’s a question that remains to be answered.

The event will run from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, offering a full day of panel discussions, networking, and industry insights. The venue is easily accessible by car, public transport, and shuttle services from major nearby cities. For international visitors, Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is the closest major airport, with direct train and bus connections to Naaldwijk.
