The exhibition floor abuzz with back-to-back business meetings where leading companies like Vertical Future, Foshan Growspec, GreenState, Multivac, Al Aliyo Hydrofarms, Total Grow, Danfoss, Skytree, etc. along with vertical farm owners like Bustanica, Pure Harvest, Uns Farms, Elite Agro, Veggitech etc. and retail chains like Barakat, Sharjah Coop, etc. were extremely satisfied exhibiting their best products and solutions at the show.
Key government officials present at the event reaffirmed their commitment to promoting food security within the region. The valuable presence from organisations like UAE's Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, ADAFSA, AAAID, World Green Economy Organization, Emirates Development Bank, Food Tech Valley, top vertical farming companies, various other governing bodies and stakeholders underlined the importance they accorded to sustainable agricultural practices that ensure a sufficient and reliable food supply for the future.
The insights and expertise shared by the government representatives and VF leaders paved the way for fruitful discussions and collaboration between public and private entities.
Attendees had the opportunity to explore cutting-edge technologies, innovative farming methodologies, and the latest advancements in vertical farming solutions. With a strong focus on promoting food security in the region, the Global Vertical Farming Show proved to be a significant milestone in shaping the future of sustainable agriculture.
At the conference, the key decision-makers stressed, elevating vertical farming in the Middle East and beyond. The mission to highlight technology-driven approaches in vertical farming was also done through back-to-back captivating sessions.

H. E. Mohammed Mousa Almeeri, Undersecretary of the Food Diversity Sector at the UAE's Ministry of Climate Change and Environment said, that we must pay heed to such innovative modes of farming and reduce the reliance on imports in the region (the Middle East).

In talks with Al Arabiya news at the event, HE Mousa Almeeri said that "UAE has heavily invested in technologies including vertical farming, hydroponic farming, controlled environment, smart greenhouses and sustainable farming practices and will continue to do so in future as well."
Distinguished speakers like H. E. Mohammed bin Obaid Al Mazrooei – President, AAAID, Sultan Khamis Al Waheebi - ADAFSA, Abdulla Al Hamed - Emirates Development Bank, Jerome Auchere - World Green Economy Organization and several others discussed vertical farming’s key potential in solving pressing issues like lack of food security and effects of climate change.
Feras Al Soufi, General Manager - Bustanica, representing the world's largest vertical farm at the show and talked about sustainable scaling in vertical farming for a more secure food future and a greener planet.
