Labeau initiates construction of LAB for Phalaenopsis propagation
Added on 22 April 2024
With the addition of the laboratory in Çanakkale, Turkey has become the sixth location for Phalaenopsis tissue culture for Labeau. In addition to facilities in Germany, Belgium, America, and Slovakia, Turkey not only provides the company with the necessary additional production capacity but also serves as a strategic trading location. With over a century of experience in plant propagation, Labeau understands precisely the requirements for the new laboratory. It promises to be an advanced, sustainable facility with a strong focus on the future.
During the ceremony, speeches were delivered by local ambassadors: the mayor Muharrem Erkek, the chairman of the OIZ Fahrettin Ersoy, and the local Governor Ilhami Aktas. This underscores the significant contribution to the economic development of the region. The laboratory will employ more than 200 full-time workers. The opening of this new location is scheduled for late February 2025.
