German Parliament votes to legalise cannabis

The German Parliament has voted in favour of legalising the possession and controlled cultivation of cannabis, becoming the third EU nation after Malta and Luxembourg.

While Germany legalised medical cannabis in 2017, it marks a major market policy shift, and pro-Cannabis reformers will be watching eagerly to see if other European nations follow suit.
